Last year I made a calendar out of my nature photography and it was a hit, so I thought I’d make one this year too. All the photos are from Washington. From Mt. Vernon’s tulip festival to Mt Rainier’s wildflowers blooming. For more info drop me a line.
November was another month that seemed to be dominated by illness. The moments no one was sick we took advantage of and got outside. The boys and I went on three fantastic hikes/walks this month. I left my dslr at home each time but did manage to snap a few self-portraits on my phone each time.
This last one of me and the boys was taken by another hiker. After 90 minutes and an 1100 foot elevation climb we had finally reached the top of Rattlesnake Ridge. It was an amazing hike on a beautiful day.
November in Seattle… mostly rainy with scattered days full of sunshine and warmth. This happened to be one of the cloudy days, but it started out perfect.
I spent three weeks sick in October. Three Weeks. Followed by another 10 days in November with the same crud. What my portrait should’ve been this month – me on the couch in my Green Bay hoodie, covered in a blanket with a box of Puffs in one hand and my Hunger Games book in another. Because that’s about what my month looked like. But that’s not a pretty sight.
So I ventured out on a rainy fall day and managed to get this.
