We went to Fernwood Botanical Garden and had a beautiful day to walk around and admire the flowers. Madeline is adorable. She’s fun. She’s wanting to explore everything. And did I mention she’s adorable? :) Those pigtails!

 

It didn’t take long before Maddie was picking rocks up…

Claire is 14 months old in these photos. We were aiming for 12 months – but illness and vacation on both our ends bumped us back a couple  months. And I have to say I think it worked out great becasue the spring flowers were beautiful.

Claire was happy to walk around (barefoot for a bit) and pick at flowers and tree buds.

As one of my “Baby Plan” babies I’ve been photographing Claire since she was a newborn (longer if you count Amy’s maternity session) and I LOVE being such a huge part of capturing her first year.

Amy and Jackson – thank you. Your friendship and trust is fantastic. You know… you will have to do a family session this summer. :)

For her 6 month photos we got together on an unusually warm fall afternoon at Emily’s house.

We started out with some photos of Rilyn with her grandma Martha. These photos are so special. It’s something they will cherish forever.

Rilyn is so full of personality and spunk right now. I loved all of her changing expressions while we were shooting. This photo was taken while she was watching Grandma Martha.

Then she realized I was taking her photo and looked over at me.

If you’ve been following my blog you may remember this little one. She’s one of my ‘Baby Plan’ babies. We photographed her at 2,6,9, and now, 12 months. I can’t believe the year has flown by already.

It was cold and windy this day but Sarah was just as bubbly and happy as can be.

A little outfit change and we’re ready to go again. Love that you brought these pumpkins for these pictures Tamra!

This is so true. I felt it with my own kids but even more with my niece. Probably because I only saw her a few times a month and the changes seemed even greater, more dramatic. It seems like just a last week I was taking my sister’s maternity pictures and then Madeline’s newborn pictures. Here we are, 1 year later, and another baby to “graduate” from my Baby Plan Package.

We took these pictures the day Maddie turned 1 at the beach where my brother-in-law proposed to my sister. How amazing is that?! :)

Reflections on the lingering water left on the sand are my favorite.

Going for a walk… Maddie wanted a sea gull so badly. She was yelling at them almost the whole time we were by the water. :)

my favorite of the day – Maddie loved the water. LOVED. She is making a run for it. Just outside the frame of this shot her daddy is chasing after her. :)

I love how intently she’s looking up at her momma as she grasps onto her finger…

Perfect little newborn foot. She has the longest toes (and fingers too really) of any newborn ever. So adorable.

Rilyn is 12 weeks old in these pictures. I can’t believe how much she’s changed since her newborn session.

She was alert and watching my every move. I got a couple of little smiles out of her. Then her dad got home and she lit right up for him. Huge happy smiles. So cute to see this little family grow and change.
