David, Jessica, Eden, Carter – 2012

I was so excited when Jessica contacted me to set up a family portrait session for this summer. It had been two years since I photographed them last and I was excited to see how much Eden and Carter had grown. Eden is looking more like like a teenager and Carter had lost all the “little boy/preschooler” look he had last time. They are both adorable and love their parents so much.

David and Jessica are the type of parents that play with their kids. They run along the beach with them. They play on the tire swing together. Carter wanted to climb to the top of the slide and they all did. I love this type of parenting. It’s awesome to see. It was also great to see David and Jessica sit back, snuggle up a bit, and watch their kids chase the seagulls.

Here are the rest of my favorites from our session.

Eden’s reaction to Jessica throwing Carter in the water is priceless. :)

This next one is my favorite out of the bunch. Eden ‘discovered’ this wash out on our way back to the car. Without any direction from me this is what happened next. :)

David and Jessica – thank you again for having me capture your life as it is now. It was a joy to see you guys. I’m looking forward to seeing you again soon. *hugs*
