Oh December – how strange of a month it’s been.
I wanted this photo to be taken in the rain. It was supposed to rain, heavily, all day. It was raining when I left the apartment for my location. By the time I got there the rain went from rain to drizzle to nothing. At one point the clouds were parting and lightening (got lighter – is that a word? lightening? probably not) so much that Cody asked if the sun was coming out.
Change of plans.
Here’s me. December. By the water. In black and white.
I do love Seattle. A lot. Besides the miss of my family and closest friends back in MI/IN I am happy here. Happier than I was in MI most days. That’s a bit painful to hear for those I left behind I know, there is no moving back to MI because I’m miserable. But hey – you’ve been following the blog. You have seen some of the beautiful areas I’ve been to. Can you blame me? There’s something in the air here - the mountains, the city, the water that soothes my soul.
Next year I plan to take some touristy self-portraits. I know you’ve all been wondering when Pike Place Market and “Seattle Grace Hospital” will show up.
Thanks for sticking around.
