Self-Portrait – March

I’m a few days late posting my self-portrait for March but here it is…

March was great because I got to spend a weekend in Chicago with three close girlfriends. One lives in Tennessee and I haven’t seen her in almost three years. Even though the weather was unseasonably cold (30′s instead of the average 50′s) we had a blast walking around the city… Millennium Park and ‘the bean’, The Skydeck at the Willis Tower (yes, we called it the Sears Tower most of the weekend, old habits die hard), the Ferris wheel on Navy Pier, and so much more. We also ate lots of good food.

This photo was taken on the State St bridge while we were walking back to our hotel (Hotel 71, 18th floor corner room overlooking the river – amazing views) after eating dinner at Rockit Bar & Grill. (I highly suggest you have their cheese fries. French fries covered with shitake mushrooms and smothered in Brie cheese. They never fail to satisfy me. Ever. And I crave them frequently.

It was a great weekend…

until next month…
