Holly gave me a call this fall for family photos. Due to their busy schedules we did her and Phoenix first. Then scheduled a mini-session for her whole family.
For her and Phoenix, Holly had a few locations in mind. This first one is a favorite of mine, I shot a family here last year. Many thanks to the home owners for letting us use their driveway as the backdrop for these photos.
While headed to Holly’s second location I wanted to make a stop and check something out. I had been back in this field a few times before and was hoping for amazing this year. It did not disappoint.
Our last location was a vineyard. Vineyards are plentiful in our area and one of my favorite backdrops almost anytime of year, for any session. You can see why….
For the whole family we had about a half hour before sunset one evening. We met back at our first location. Unfortunately Phoenix was having a bad day. That might be putting it mildly. He didn’t want to pose for any photos and when he saw the camera pointing his direction he hid behind his momma. (To his credit Holly said he ended up very sick later this week. Poor guy.) Here is my favorite photo of Jacob.
And one of Kent and his boys.
Kent and Holly – Thanks so much for having me take your family photos again this year. I’m sorry we didn’t get many shots of the whole family. It was great to see how much the boys have grown. They are even more handsome than last year – which I didn’t really think was possible. Here are more of my favorites from the two sessions.
