Project 365 – March

One more month of taking a picture every day. My theme for March was “outside” – anything outside. I was so happy for the change in the weather and the chance to get out.

It’s becoming routine to take a picture every day. Which is super exciting. : )

Some of these pictures you’ll notice nothing special about the picture itself. It could be a snapshot anyone took. Yet there is a story behind every single picture. From the neighbor’s cat who wondered in the yard and was chased up the tree by our dog to a house with an unknown story that I’m dying to discover.

And then there are a few that I’m terribly proud of. A milkweed plant, an abandoned barn with dozens of ladders and windows stacked against it, the first flowers of spring at Fernwood. These photos each have a story too.

To keep track of my 365 Project every day follow me here.

Next month’s theme is “People” – a different person every day. If you live in the sw MI/nw IN area and are interested in a mini-session and your portrait featured one day, contact me via e-mail ( or phone (574.339.6272)

I love the old car. Where’d you find it? The shot of the steps going down to the water is gorgeous too.
