Carrie and Betsy

Meet Carrie and Betsy.

I’ve known the girls since we were kids. Betsy was close with my sister and we all hung out together. Then, as teenagers Carrie and I spent some great time running around, going to concerts together. We hadn’t seen each other in a few years and then reconnected through Facebook earlier this year.

Carrie approached me because they were looking to have some ‘sister’s photos’ taken. They wanted something a little more unique and personalized than typical studio pictures. We decided on a date, time, and location, and then just hoped for decent weather, because late November, who knows what you’d end up with. We ended up with a perfect mid-50′s and sunny afternoon.

Here are a few of my favorite pictures. Carrie, Betsy, it was so great to see you both. You are both so beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon of laughter and joy, the perfect blend of fun, goofiness, and posing.

Hey Dani…i’m a few months late in getting to this…i saw the pics on your site, but not this blog entry. :) Thank YOU so much for the kind words & great pics. I hope we can continue to have fun together, and you can ‘take me under your wing’ as i am a begginer photographer. Looking forward to this spring, when we romp through my fields in search of a perfect sun-kissed (or waterlogged!) pic from under the irrigation sprinklers!
