A Vineyard in the Fall

A few weeks ago a¬†good friend of mine asked me if I had any vineyard pictures. I didn’t. I had never really thought about it before, but there are vineyards all over in our area. The Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail runs and stops at several wineries just minutes from my house. So I was off on a mission to get some great vineyard shots.

In preperation for Non-Pareil Buchanan I met Jim Lester. Jim is the owner of Wyncroft. (http://wyncroftwine.com) A great little local winery making some of the best wine in the area. He allowed me acces to Avonlea Vineyard, the beautiful 10 acres where his grapes are grown. These pictures were taken there.

Many thanks to John for asking for vineyard pictures. Many many thanks to Jim for allowing me access to his vineyard.
